Small Patch - Downtime at 6PM GMT

We're bringing down the servers for less than an hour to make a small correction to one of the features introduced in yesterday's patch. This will happen at 6PM GMT.

 Downtime - Patch -Account Management

We apologize for the server downtime, there were two unrelated rare issues that decided to pop up in rapid succession. We're bringing the servers up in a few minutes.

There's no patch this week, we've been working on an important patch for next week.

The account management system went through an major overhaul and will be up later today. We might even open up the shop today if everything is ready, either way we'll open up Monday through Thursday next week. We'll announce the times sometime this weekend.

Due to the overhaul of the account management system, billing and account management support has been slow the past few days. We appreciate your patience with that, we should catch up with all issues since we'll work through the weekend.

We will bring down the servers to apply a patch tomorrow Friday May 15th at 9AM GMT.

The servers are coming down at 5pm GMT. This is a huge patch so the downtime will be at least 4 hours.

We've tested the expansion thoroughly for weeks but there's bound to be some problems. We'll be on standby to fix them as soon as they appear. We've just discovered a small issue with the Weather System which we can't fix before the expansion comes out so we'll have to patch it in in the next couple of days. Everything else has been included into the expansion as planned.

Downtime 4.30AM GMT

We'd like to explain the long delay we're experiencing with the expansion:

We knew this was going to be a long process, but it's taking even longer than anticipated. It's due to the procedure for building the expansion which is a time consuming and repetitive operation. We've experienced a few setbacks during the process which have added to the building time.

This needs to be done right in order to minimize any further issues and we appreciate your patience while we're grinding away at this. As for an ETA, it could take a few more minutes or several more hours before we're done, it's impossible to estimate precisely. We're on the verge of being ready for hours now, and this is why we haven't posted anything until now.

We're experiencing EU1 server Downtime due to maintenance by our server host and this may last up to 4 hours. We will keep you updated if there are any changes to this status.

We're getting ready with the expansion as we speak. Only the EU servers will be going down in a few hours from now (4.30PM GMT) and they'll stay down for up to 24 hours. Obviously we'll do everything we can to minimize the downtime but it could take that long. Play-time lost will be reimbursed to all EU players.

The NA1 server will stay up during this time and the expansion will be applied right after the EU1 expansion. Downtime for NA1 will be relatively short.

This is the largest patch to the game ever, and we appreciate your patience while we make sure everything is running smoothly.

The NA server downtime remaining is about 5 more hours before the expansion is in.

EU1 will be down another 3 hours and this is because of some errors when we converted from one database format to another which are now fixed, but there are over 22 million records that need to be converted and this takes some time.

We apologize for the extra downtime, we're doing all we can to get service back up. The downtime will be reimbursed as previously stated. Thank you for your patience.

A problem has occurred with the database while exporting/importing characters between the EU server and the US server.
We are now restoring the database from backup.
Unfortunately this will take about 2-3 hours.

ETA for server up for both EU and US is midnight GMT.
