Hey,
also ich hab einfach mal meinen Thread aus dem offiziellen Forum hier reinkopiert, weil ich dachte, dass das ganz gut hier rein passen passen könnte. Da stehen unter anderem so ziemlich alle Informationen drin, die ich bisher so über die verschiedenen Rassen sammeln konnte. Ist denk ich ne ganz gute Entscheidungshilfe! Leider alles auf Englisch, aber ich denk die meisten werden es trotzdem verstehen. Viel Spaß damit Wink



Well, I just started playing Darkfall. At first I created a Mahirim just because I was in the mood, but I'm not really satisfied with the looks so I decided to re-roll. This time I want to make a more profound choice regarding gender, race, etc.

Searching the forums for quite a while I have been able to gather some, but not all of the information I was looking for. What I'd really like to see is a summary and comparison between all the races showing differences that actually matter.

So I've decided to make a list of my own. Please help me complete it!

Alfar: Pros - Small hitbox, high Int(difficult to raise apparently), hard to spot because of their color & size; Cons - Slightly lower amount of total stats at char creation(115), short melee range; Racial Weapon: Polearm

Mirdain: Pros - Hitbox also quite small, females are smaller apparently, high Dex(which is also hard to raise), decent hiding abilities depending on customization, good melee range; Cons: Total amount of starting stats(117), ugly freakish looks; Racial Weapon: Bow

Mahirim: Pros - Max. total starting stats(120), high melee range, apparently hard to hit while crouching(bug?); Cons - Size(easy to spot), large hitbox; Racial Weapon: 1H Sword

Orcs: Pros - High melee range, apparently hard to hit while crouching(bug?); Cons - Size, large hitbox, lowest amount of starting stats(110); Racial Weapon: 2H Axe

Dwarves: Pros - Small hitbox, apparently no melee rang penalty; Cons - Stats(117), and well... who wants to be a dwarf!?; Racial Weapon: Hammer(1H/2H??)

Humans: Max. total starting stats(120), good melee range, females have decent to very good hiding abilities depending on customization, no real cons; Cons - None that I know of; Racial Weapon: 2H Sword

Note: Racial Weapons only affect crafting! Every race can use every weapon!

Alfar und Zwerge haben eine kleine Sichthöhe. Die anderen Rassen (keine Ahnung ob auch Menschen) haben eine erhöhte Sichtposition was einem erleichtert mit Magie auf nen Gegner zu schießen, da man von oben nach unten schießt.
